How to play it
Why this exercise
This block helps you focus intentionally on the part of your guitar playing that needs the most growth. Deliberate practice speeds progress because it targets the real challenge instead of the comfortable routine.
- Pick one clear skill you struggle with right now: alternate picking, bends, legato, chord changes, rhythm, speed, or control.
- Work through a slow, precise version of the exercise for 10 minutes; prioritize cleanliness over tempo.
- Repeat the idea in small phrases and identify exactly what fails: finger movement, pulse, coordination, or tone.
- When it feels clean, raise the BPM slightly or add variation without losing control.
- Write down one specific improvement so the next session begins with intention.
Today's tip
Choose one concrete exercise instead of a broad idea. A clear target gives better feedback.
